independent car dealers and businesses advertise with us. In order to assist
you in finding the car, merchandise or service you are looking for, we have
searches by year, make & model for cars, and keywords for everything else.

Most
of the advertisers, both private party and commercial, are located in Northeast
Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Northwestern North Carolina. TPost.com,

browsing the ads in any category, you can supply your zip code and sort the ads

advertising media, which bring together buyers and sellers. TPost.com, Trading
Post and Photo Features magazines do not own or sell anything that is
advertised.

Warranties
or guarantees provided by the sellers may be available for the services or
merchandise on TPost.com. In some cases, extended warranties may be purchased

Placing
An Ad

What types of ads are available on TPost.com?
Photo
ads and classified (without photos) ads are available to private parties. All
ads will run for the number of weeks specified when placing an ad. There is an
option for “Run ‘Til It Sells” photo and classified ads available to private
party advertisers only. Certain restrictions apply to “Run ‘Til It Sells” ads.
What
items may be advertised with a “Run ‘Til It Sells” photo or classified ad?
“Run
‘Til It Sells” photo or classified ads are available to private party
advertisers only. Any type of service or on-going business activity is
considered to be a commercial advertiser and does not qualify for a “Run ‘Til
It Sells” ad. A “Run ‘Til It Sells” ads may not be used to sell multiple
items in a single ad.
When
placing a “Run ‘Til It Sells” ad, the content of the ad (except for the item’s
price) may not be modified online once the ad has been placed. You must call
the office to make the changes to the content of the ad description. All “Run
‘Til It Sells” ads are subject to approval by TPost.com and may be rejected at
their discretion.
How
long will my ad run?
Photo
ads appears online (with up to 4 photos) and in Trading Post and Photo Features
magazines for at least one week (depending on when the ad is submitted).
Classified ads appear online and in one or both printed publications from one
week or longer (depending on the ad option chosen).
“Run
‘Til It Sells” photo and classified ads appear online and in Trading Post and
Photo Features magazines for four weeks. After the initial four weeks, you may
renew your “Run ‘Til It Sells” ad every four weeks for as long as you need to sell your item.

What is the deadline to place my ad online?
All
ads submitted online between Monday and Friday noon will be included on
TPost.com within 24 hours. Ads submitted online after Friday noon will appear
on TPost.com no later than Monday noon.
Ads
placed online by the deadline will appear in that week’s issue of Trading Post
and Photo Features. The deadline is Monday 1:00
p.m. for Photo Features and Tuesday 3:00 p.m. for Trading Post
- Why do the online
categories differ from the print categories?
The
website categories allow easier browsing for the user in a website environment
with different category navigation and the ability to search. Trading Post and
Photo Features magazines have more categories to fit the parameters of a
reader-friendly advertising publication. Every item in Trading Post and Photo
Features magazines will appear online. Likewise, all items advertised on
TPost.com will appear in both magazines.

How much do ads cost?
Private
party Photo ads begin at only $12, and run for one week online and in Trading
Post magazine. Other packages run in both Trading Post and Photo Features
magazines. “Run ‘Til It Sells” photo ads (available to private party
advertisers only) begin at only $6.00, and run online and in both printed
publications (depending on the ad plan selected) as long as you need to sell
your item. “Run ‘Til It Sells” photo ads must be renewed every four weeks.
Most
ad packages available online will appear in Trading Post magazine, Photo
Features magazine and on TPost.com for maximum coverage.

When does my ad go “live” online?
All
ads submitted online between Monday and Friday noon will be included on
TPost.com within 24 hours. Ads submitted online after Friday noon will appear
on TPost.com no later than Monday noon.
Ads
placed online by the deadlines -- Monday 1:00 p.m. for Photo Features and
Tuesday 3:00 p.m. for Trading Post will appear in that week’s issue of Photo
Features and/or Trading Post magazines.

Will my online ad run in Trading Post & Photo Features
magazines?
To
gain the most exposure for your ad, most of the ad packages available online
will run in both Trading Post and Photo Features magazines. Depending on the
options chosen, the ad may run in one or both magazines.

How do I renew my ad?
Any
ad placed online may be renewed by logging in to My Account, and going
to the specific ad in My Ads.

Will you remind me to renew my ad?
YES
– We will remind you to renew your ad at least 72 hours before your ad
expires. If you provided your email address when placing your ad you will
receive email renewal reminders before your ads expire.
·
How do I change or cancel my ad?
Any
ad placed online may be renewed or cancelled by logging in to My
Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads. Please call
our office if you wish to change the wording and/or photos for your ad.
Changes
and cancellations made between Monday and Friday noon will be effective online
within 24 hours. Changes and cancellations made after Friday noon will be
effective no later than Monday noon. Changes and cancellations made by the following deadline will appear in that week’s issue
of Trading Post & Photo Features magazines: Monday 1:00 p.m. for Photo Features and Tuesday 3:00 p.m. for
Trading Post

Do you guarantee that my ad will be successful?
Although
we strongly believe that TPost.com, Trading Post and Photo Features magazines
offer the best advertising value in Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and
Northwestern North Carolina, we cannot guarantee results.

What types of payment do you accept?
We
accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover for ads placed online. We also accept
cash, checks and money orders if you are visiting our office or mailing in
payment for your ad. We do not recommend mailing cash. Please make sure to
include the completed Private Party Ad Form
when mailing in your payment.

Is my credit card information secure?
Using
your credit card at TPost.com is completely safe. We use an advanced
encryption technology that safeguards your personal information and ensures
your privacy as it travels over the internet. We also maintain a certificate
with Thawte that serves as an electronic substitute for your signature.

What is your refund policy?
We
are not responsible for errors made by customers. If you make an error in an ad
placed online, you may correct or modify your ad by logging in to My
Account, and going to the specific ad in My Ads. Likewise, you
may cancel any ad placed online by going to My Ads in My
Account.
We
do not issue refunds for ads. If we make a material error in your ad, we will
give you a credit toward the purchase of future advertising.

What is the best way to photograph my vehicle or item(s) for
sale?
If
possible, please use a digital camera to get the best quality photo for both
online and print. A plain background such as trees or a wall will work best.
Photos taken with film may be scanned and uploaded, but the online photo
quality may not be as good as digital photos. Please do not stand too close to
the item that you are shooting.
If
you are photographing a vehicle, the best shot of your vehicle is a simple 3/4
shot taken with a digital camera. See the examples below:

What if I do not have a digital camera or a scanner?
If
you are unable to upload a photo of your vehicle to TPost.com, we offer several
options.

You may bring your vehicle to our
office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or Wednesday
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and we will take a photo for you at no additional cost.

You may mail photos of your
vehicle, together with your payment and the completed Private
Party Ad Form to the address listed above.
